Queremos informar de la actualización interna de clasificación y etiquetado que ha experimentado el producto CAS 3006-82-4 (PEROXAN PO y sus soluciones diluidas: PEROXAN PO-49 B y PEROXAN PO-M+).
Los resultados preliminares de un estudio sobre toxicidad reproductiva (OECD 443) indican que CAS 3006-82-4 puede potencialmente afectar a la reproducción en vertebrados.
En cualquier caso, este estudio no está concluido y, en este momento se están llevando a cabo más investigaciones sobre los potenciales efectos en la fertilidad.
Sin embargo, como medida de precaución, Pergan ha decidido adicionalmente clasificar y etiquetar CAS 3006-82-4 de acuerdo a la Regulación (EC) No 1272/2008 (CLP) como sigue:
Tan pronto como el estudio y las investigaciones adicionales concluyan, la nueva clasificación será revaluada y revisada en caso de ser necesario.
El riesgo para la salud humana está suficientemente controlado por las medidas de gestión de riesgos y las condiciones operativas indicadas en la (e)SDS para CAS 3006-82-4. Por lo tanto, no hay preocupación con respecto a la toxicidad reproductiva para los trabajadores.
Durante los próximos meses, mientras dure la fase de transición, podrá haber diferencias entre el etiquetado en la etiqueta antigua del producto y el etiquetado/clasificación en la nueva hoja de seguridad.

This is to inform you about an interim update regarding classification and labelling for the substance CAS 3006-82-4 (PEROXAN PO and the dilute solutions PEROXAN PO-49 B and PEROXAN PO-M+).
Preliminary results of a reproductive toxicity study (OECD 443) indicate that CAS 3006-82-4 may potentially affect reproduction in vertebrates. This study, however, is not yet concluded and further investigations on the potential effects on fertility are currently ongoing.
However, as a precautionary measure Pergan has decided to additionally classify and label CAS 3006-82-4 and the dilute solution of CAS 3006-82-4 according to Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 (CLP) as follows:
As soon as the study and the additional investigations are finalized the above classification will be re-evaluated and revised, if required. The Safety Data Sheets will also be updated, accordingly.
Please note that the risk to human health is sufficiently controlled by the risk management measures and operational conditions currently indicated in the (e)SDS for CAS 3006-82-4. Therefore, there is no concern in regards to reproductive toxicity for workers.
